the nurseries
The project of a new dwelling at the Nurseries Bungalow site included the demolition of the existing buildings and the redevelopment of the site.
The design of the house intended to allow for views of the surrounding fields from the social areas of the house. The large window to the north elevation brings natural light to the double height living room and allows for long views towards the fields.
The chosen materials reflect the traditional building materials of the area. The house is built in yellow brick masonry with red brick masonry quoin and window details and clay tiled roof.
