Building Regulations Principal Designer Services

Where the CDM Regulations cover Health and Safety during Construction and Maintenance, the Building Regulations cover Health and Safety during the use of a building. Following the introduction of the Building Safety Act (BSA) 2022, every project covered under these Building Regulations must now have a Principal Designer appointed to oversee the compliance of all design work.

The aim of this new legislation is to ensure a “golden thread,” captures all design decisions and changes made before and during construction to ensure building safety.
